Dean Blakely & Assoc Privacy Policy regarding our Android apps

We do not share or sell any data with any outside organization.

Some of our apps collect execution and GPS data in order to provide recordings of phone movement and position. This data is temporarily held on our servers in order for the user of the app to access it either from the internet or his/her phone. We internally sometimes access this data for tuning and problem solving purposes. Execution data is recorded for our internal marketing, customer support, and app tuning purposes. Email addresses entered by the user may be used to contact the user for customer support purposes.

We access the following features on your phone for the following reasons:

Receive and Send SMS Messages: Communication between phones is accomplished by using internal SMS messages that the owners of the phones never see. The sms messages are very few and very small.

Phone Location (GPS): This is how the app determines location to provide its function. This can always be disabled anytime the owner desires.

Hardware Controls (take pictures): None of our apps use the camera to take pictures. This is here because the Mole program, acting as a flashlight program, uses the LED to shine a light. This permission is needed to light the LED.

Phone Calls (read phone state and identity): The phone's number and device id are retrieved in order to make the apps work properly and to provide data base keys necessary to identify unique keys by which to store trip data.

Network Communication: This is needed to accomplish the app faction. Also we use the carriers data connection to send small amounts of data back and forth to our servers so that trip movement can be stored and accessed between the phones involved.
